Sci-Fi Style Handgun

Sci-Fi style handgun cretaed following brilliant youtube series by content creator Zerobio, highly reccomend checking out this and other modelling series he has created.

Have not done a handgun before or any gun for that matter I think so this was a fun project to work on. Took me a while to decide on the texure's. Looking online I did not know if i should go with simple and stripped back or big flashy colors and loads of lights. Played it safe with a simple dirty metal texture with some contrasting materials on some of the smaller parts. The logo is the geth logo from mass effect, the gun has no connection to that I just like the logo and felt that the gun needed something on what was otherwise a large empty space.

Overall I like the final look of the gun, the laser pointer is a nice final addition, created following a quick tutorial on geometry nodes to create a pointer that interacts with other objects should I ever decide to animate this or use it in an animation.
