This is a personal 3D animation project I recently completed in Blender. I've wanted to create a marble run scene for a long time, but the physics simulations always proved tricky to get right. After following an excellent YouTube tutorial by Ryan King (@RyanKingArt), I was finally able to bring the concept to life in a way I was happy with.
The animation features a stylized, looping marble run with smooth physics and clean lighting. I added a Lo-Fi remix of a track from My Hero Academia—I’ve been slightly obsessed with the show lately, and the relaxed tone of the music felt like a great match for the rhythm of the animation.
This is probably one of my favourite pieces to date, both technically and creatively. I’ve included some stills and process shots below to show more of the scene in detail.
Thanks for checking it out!
